YMCL Reviews Bye Law, Ends 2018 National Leaders' Summit in Ibadan (PHOTOS)










 


The Youth Ministry of The Church of The Lord (Prayer Fellowship) converged in Ibadan, Oyo State capital to hold her 2018 National Leaders' Summit.

The Leaders' Summit was held on 13th - 15th of April, 2018 at the West-North Province Headquarters, Oke-Ado, Ibadan with the theme "I will make them beloved (Roman 8: )"

Speaking on the theme, the immediate National Youth President emeritus, Dr. Oladele Ayodele says to be beloved implies being chosen, appointed, and God not only being your God, but also your father; restoring you as well.



The law binding every member of the Youth Ministry of the Church was also reviewed. Some of the reviewed laws include:

• Inter - Intra marriage among members into Intra-marriage

• Getting a new official logo for the Youth Ministry

• Changed from Youth Ministry The Church Of The Aladura Worldwide (YMTCLAW) to Youth Ministry Church Of The Lord Prayer Fellowship Worldwide.

Earlier, one the Youth Presidents emeritus, Evangelist Adefowope Ashaye spoke on Know Your YMCL, talking about the past, present, and what should have been achieved and be the youth ministry's development.



Another speaker at the summit, Very Reverend Kolade Fadahunsi from Methodist Church spoke on Leadership.

He said, a leader is expected to think and get a prevention/ solution of current issues affecting not only the body or union or ministry they are but, also issues battling with the nation.



He continued by saying a leader is not to be subjected to failure. A leader is expected and believed to be above failure (more than number of times such leader fails).

Earlier, a group workshop on issues affecting YMCL was discussed and various suggestions, opinions, and possible solutions to tackling the issues were raised and proposed delegates present at the summit.



Some of the upcoming programmes of the youth ministry include: National Executive visit to dioceses, official launching of the National Youth Convention, Tabieorah Retreat, amongst others.

The summit however was declared closed by the Youth President, Deacon Kehinde Anthony.
